Help warm up the winter for area families by dropping off gently used adult- and child-sized sweaters in the Children's Museum's lobby during regular Museum open hours.

"Mister Rogers Neighbrohood" (1968-2001) was a children's show produced in Pittsburgh starring Fred Rogers (1928-2003). The museum has a permanent exhibit based on the series.

Spirits Of Giving Around The World

This enchanting display of life-size Santas and original paintings captures a whole world of Christmas folklore and fantasy.

Capture memories of Christmases past in the Wintergarden where a tree larger than any from your childhood awaits you. Their spectacular 32-foot tree is adorned with magnificent ornaments and gifts symbolic of this most special season of giving and is surrounded by a unique train display.

PPG Gingerbread House & Train Display

Running concurrently with the "Spirits Of Giving" exhibit in the Wintergarden (as well as the windows in Two PPG Place) is this magnificent display of delicious dwellings created by area students, chefs, organizations, and individuals. The houses are also surrounded by a variety of model trains from the collection of local artist Don Jones.

All houses are available to purchase with proceeds benefiting Children’s Hospital’s Free Care Fund. For more information, call (412) 434-1928.

Manners & A Craft For Kids

During the hectic holiday season, parents can drop off their children ages 5 to 13 for a manners workshop where they will learn table and party etiquette, make a holiday craft and have a snack.

The fee is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Presented by the Maryann Sawka Etiquette Academy, a local school whose mission is to teach basic manners and etiquette to children at an early age. For more information, call (724) 689-3102.
