Mister Roger's Neighborhood Sweater Drive

Help warm up the winter for area families by dropping off gently used adult- and child-sized sweaters in the Children's Museum's lobby during regular Museum open hours.

"Mister Rogers Neighbrohood" (1968-2001) was a children's show produced in Pittsburgh starring Fred Rogers (1928-2003). The museum has a permanent exhibit based on the series.

American Girl Fashion Show

Come to this Junior League Of Pittsburgh Fundraiser, featuring a two-day fashion show starring local girls dressed as American Girl characters.

American Girl is a line of dolls and accessories based on pre-teen girl characters from various periods of American history that was launched in 1986. The dolls, representing 9 to 10 year old girls, live through important times in American history and provide a child's perspective of significant events in American history.

Founded in 1922, the Junior League Of Pittsburgh is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities. For more information, call (412) 488-9270.

PPG Gingerbread House & Train Display

Running concurrently with the "Spirits Of Giving" exhibit in the Wintergarden (as well as the windows in Two PPG Place) is this magnificent display of delicious dwellings created by area students, chefs, organizations, and individuals. The houses are also surrounded by a variety of model trains from the collection of local artist Don Jones.

All houses are available to purchase with proceeds benefiting Children’s Hospital’s Free Care Fund. For more information, call (412) 434-1928.
