Suspended Penn State defensive tackle Phil Taylor has accepted the sanctions handed down by the Office of Judicial Affairs for his involvement in an October fight at the student union building.
Penn State spokesman Lisa Powers said last night that Taylor would be able to complete spring classes but would be suspended for the summer term, which runs though mid-August.
Powers said Taylor "has permanently lost his privileges to live in residence halls and is on probation through graduation. He also must take anger management and counseling sessions."
Taylor and two other suspended players -- defensive tackle Chris Baker and linebacker Navorro Bowman -- are awaiting trial. University police allege that they beat up a man during a dance.
