City Councilman Patrick Dowd will have a roving council "office" in his District 7 neighborhoods several times a month, starting today at the Bloomfield Farmers Market.
The session, from 3:30 p.m. for at least an hour, will be in the parking authority lot at Friendship Avenue and Cedarville Street.
Mr. Dowd, who is calling his outreach "Council To Go," plans to be at the farmers market the third Thursday of each month until it closes. During inclement weather, hewill move to Crazy Mocha at 4525 Liberty Ave.
Starting May 21 and every third Wednesday thereafter, he will meet with constituents at 2 p.m. at the Lawrenceville branch of the Carnegie Library, 279 Fisk St. May 28 will be the first of every fourth Wednesday when he meets with constituents at 2 p.m. at Enrico's Tazza d'Oro, 1125 N. Highland Ave., Highland Park.
Every first Thursday at 2 p.m., starting June 5, Garfield and Friendship constituents can meet with him at Quiet Storm Coffeehouse and Restaurant, 5430 Penn Ave. The Polish Hill Civic Association, 3060 Brereton St., will be the host on June 12 and every second Thursday at 2 p.m.
