Law

William Pietragallo II, managing partner of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, was appointed by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as vice chair of its disciplinary board.

Joshua Siebert joined Pietragallo Gordon as an associate in the commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation practice groups.

Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott said attorneys Gregory H. Teufel and Mariah L. Lewis joined its Pittsburgh office. Mr. Teufel is as a member in the litigation division focusing on outside general counsel work and commercial litigation, including breach of contract disputes, construction litigation, employee benefits matters, employment disputes and product liability claims. Ms. Lewis is an associate in the litigation division, practicing in the labor and employment group. And Kevin M. Skjoldal joined as an associate in the Harrisburg office's litigation division.

Manufacturing

Koppers Inc. said Thomas Angell joined as plant superintendent of carbon materials and chemicals.

RTI International Metals Inc. hired Michael E. McClain as director, business planning and development, at its Pittsburgh headquarters and named Ravi Rai director, SAP application support for its computer center located in Niles, Ohio.

Industrial Scientific Corp. appointed Josh McElhattan, director of marketing and business development and Kevin Miller was elected vice president and general manager of sales and service for Industrial Scientific Americas.

Nonprofit

Mark W. Medwig, certified public accountant, Gleason & Associates, and William J. Hepfinger, director, regional accounts, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, were appointed to the St. Anthony Charitable Foundation board.

Peter L. DeNardis was elected to serve a three-year term on the board of trustees for the International Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia Foundation.
