The Woodland Hills school board's failure to pass the budget yesterday could lead to delays in paying some district employees.
The board recessed without voting to look into recovering more than $1 million that may have been deposited into the Capital Reserve Fund in error; however, the delay means officials must pass a budget before Monday for the next pay cycle to resume as scheduled. The delay would affect 12-month employees, not teachers.
The meeting will resume Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
