Nature's Grody Gross: Aug. 24

"Grody" and "gross" are not among the Greek designations most scientists use when identifying biological materials, although some will confess that some of that stuff is "icky." But at a hands-on Ohiopyle State Park program steered to the interests and jargon of young would-be scientists, the creatures under examination are slippery, slimy and, well, kind of disgusting.
