Robert Morris held off Delaware at the foul line tonight and beat the Blue Hens, 86-75, at the Sewall Center.

The Colonials (1-1) led by 23 points (59-36) with 13:42 left. However, Delaware (0-2) cut its deficit to 12 points with 4:27 left. The Colonials made 17 of 20 free throws down the stretch to clinch the game.

Jeremy Chappell had 19 points for Robert Morris. That pushed his career total to 1,329 and moved him ahead of Gene Nabors and into eighth place on RMU's all-time scoring list.
