The Parkway West will be closed for a time this weekend between Interstate 79 and the Route 22/30/60 interchange in Robinson for overhead sign erection -- one of three upcoming restrictions on the busy stretch of highway.
The closing will be from midnight Friday through noon Saturday. Traffic in both directions will be detoured using Route 60 and I-79 via the Crafton interchange.
During the same 12-hour period, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will close several ramps -- I-79 north to the Parkway West outbound and the inbound on-ramps from Ridge Road and Boyce Road. Detours will be posted.
