
Neil Barclay's booming baritone voice directed the guests, who arrived via Molly's Trolleys to follow him. As president of the August Wilson Center for African American Culture, he gave patrons an intimate preview tour of the new center on Friday evening. Afterward, the trolleys took them to Jacqui and Jeff Morby's home in Squirrel Hill for a celebratory dinner. Ron and Judy Davenport co-hosted the big-ticket event with the Morbys. Architect Allison Williams shared her vision, explaining the sail aspect of the building. The following day, more than 6,000 people attended the community open house.
