Saturday's picture-perfect weather was much more appropriate for "In a Tuscan Garden," the eighth annual Hat Luncheon for Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra held at Greensburg Garden & Civic Center. Event co-chairs were Linda Assard and Jo Ann Lightcap. As always, photo ops abounded as the merry mix of chapeaux offered a fashion show in and of itself. Kudos to Sheila Caramella for sharing her design talents, Mary Ann Calabrase and Phyllis Kluska for their hard work on the auction, and Mr. P's in Greensburg for the delectable meal. And bravo, too, to the attentive bartenders (volunteers all), who readily refilled both wine glasses and flutes of Prosecco for such guests as Sande Hendricks, Ellen Hollen, Pam DeMezza, Jo Ellen Numerick, Laurie Puleo, Becky Thorne and Valerie Wood.
