Every Thursday, Rob will personally answer a selection of questions about the wild and wacky world of television. This feature will appear only on the post-gazette.com's TV web page.

Note: Not every question will be answered. You're more likely to have a question answered in the Q&A if we haven't already answered it in the Post-Gazette's regular TV coverage. You can search post-gazette.com using keywords - for instance, the title of the TV show you have a question about - by clicking on the "Search" button at the top or bottom of this page. Also, please do not ask if a TV show is available on DVD. You can easily access that information yourself at www.tvshowsondvd.com.

IMPORTANT!

Please direct sports on TV questions to Bob Smizik. Direct radio questions to radio writer Adrian McCoy. Sports and radio questions will not be answered in the TV Q&A.

Please do not ask why a TV show was canceled because the answer will be the same 99 percent of the time: TV shows are canceled only because of financial considerations. Most of the time, the cancellation is due to low ratings. Sometimes it's because a show has been on for so long with many of the players involved getting raises every season that it becomes cost prohibitive to make new episodes.

Please do not ask questions that contain advance-of-air SPOILERS. They will not be answered.
